Ask a Librarian/Chat Services

Don't be afraid to ask!

Using the chat can help you to understand how the library works and what services would benefit you. If you need help locating something, feel overwhelmed about research, or have any other questions related to searching or other inquiries, use the chat feature! Librarians are trained information professionals, it is our job to know the best searching strategies and how to locate items through all available channels.

Subject Librarians

Subject librarians are librarians with a specialization. If you need specific help, look at your University's list of subject librarians, typically, contact information is provided, and you can reach out with any questions you may have. Some might even hold office hours or appointments to help students with specialized research.

The Writing Center

Make use of your writing center!

The writing center is there for support at any stage of your writing process. If you get the same feedback over and over about an element of your writing or an area for improvement, make an appointment with the writing center! It is a free service to support those who need more individual help than a professor can provide.
